Your Gift Makes A Difference!

Living Heart Peru had the great pleasure to welcome the fantastic team of Roma [Foundation] here in the Sacred Valley of the Inca, Peru. Together we went up to a small mountain community located at about 4000 meters of altitude where the soil is poor and weather conditions are harsh. It’s a very tranquil place where the main and almost only crop is potato, where the children have to walk to school up to 1 hour with an empty stomach and where parents have not much opportunities to earn enough money to feed the hungry mouths of their children or provide them a consistent and proper education.

These are facts which make the daily live and the future up there hard. So you can imagine how grateful and happy the kids and their parents were when Roma [Foundation] came to visit them on a rainy day with a big car full of colourful rain boots and the children could exchange their old, already too small and worn out ‘ojotas’ (the traditional sandals). It was a magical encounter and a wonderful experience for everybody present that day! THANK YOU SO MUCH Roma [Foundation]!“
